MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR:
Amanda Haymans, originally from Richmond, Virginia,
serves as the Art and Gallery Director at Nemacolin
Resort. She holds a BFA in Art, is a CZT, and brings a
deep passion for arts education, having taught in
museums, K–12 classrooms, and early‑childhood
programs. In her role, Amanda curates multiple gallery
spaces, leads art tours and lectures, oversees an
artist‑in‑residence program, and coordinates large‑scale
art events, private parties, and group experiences.
She also enjoys bringing art to her local community and creating accessible, inspiring
experiences for audiences of all ages. Now based in Maryland, Amanda enjoys reading,
crafting, traveling, and spending time with her adventurous son.
