Her work showcases the environments found in Western New York and Pennsylvania. She uses various mediums—primarily focused on drawing and sculpture— to create her pieces based on her experiences in nature.“I come home from time in the field and usually already know what medium the subject is asking to be. Sometimes a mushroom wants to be ceramic, or a pattern in the field screams to be a paper cut. Rock Paper has become one of my go-to materials and I love teaching people about this versatile paper. Regardless the medium I’m using, my joy is to connect with the viewer through the mutual love of favorite subjects.”Wendy is a member of Guild of American Papercutters, International Online Art Collective and the North Shore Arts Alliance. She is represented by Painted Finch Gallery in Corry, PA and Chautauqua Art Gallery in Jamestown, NY.
