Laurel Arts and Instructor Elizabeth Miller will be offering cooking classes on the 2nd Saturday of each month at 2pm to 4pm, in collaboration with the SOCO Farmers Market. Each class will feature ingredients from one or more vendors.
The Water Bath Canning class takes place on Saturday, August 10 at 2pm to 4pm at 601 Georgian Place, Somerset.
The class will include how to use the water bath canning method to preserve fresh vegetables to enjoy later. We will be canning apples and salsa. Fresh produce will be used from Double Ease Gardens.
Cost: $25 nonmembers/$20 members plus a $20 materials fee all payable to Laurel Arts.
