This class is being offered in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Education Association (PAEA) and is eligible for Act 48 credits. Registration is via EventBrite

Class Description:
Is cutting paper an art or a craft or just plain fun?
Images of multicultural traditions, Folk Art expressions, and contemporary examples will help to show how Papercutting has been a chosen medium/ art form for centuries. Participants will use scissors and Xacto knives to experience cutting techniques. From 2 – 2:30 p.m. participants will be guided to the GAP Museum on the second floor, before resuming hands-on activities. There will be optional projects to practice and take home at the end of the session.
Class fee is: $25 for members of PAEA and Laurel Arts
$30 for non-members of both organizations who DO NOT want Act 48 credit
$35 for non-members of both organizations who DO want Act 48 credit
Tools will be provided for in-class activities.
Maximum class size – 10 adults
