Kinusaiga is a unique Japanese art technique that creates beautiful, textured pictures without sewing, needles, or glue. Fabric scraps are carefully tucked into carved grooves in a foam or polystyrene board to create colorful, detailed designs. Instructor Marsha Schmuck will provide students with an 8×10 foam board and an assortment of patterns to choose from. A variety of fall colored fabric will be available for you to use but feel free to bring your own fabric, if you’d like.
This workshop takes place on Monday, October 12 at 6pm to 8pm at 601 Georgian Place, Somerset.
