Join instructor Marsha Schmuck for the afternoon to create amazing art using decoden cream. Decoden, short for “deco denwa,” which means “decorated phone” in Japanese, is a craft that started in Japan in the early 2000s. It involves decorating everyday objects with a special type of silicone that looks like whipped cream, and then adding various trinkets and decorations on top. We will be decorating a few different items during this class. Suitable for ages 10 & up. Younger students will need an adult with them.
Class takes place on Saturday, September 16 at 2pm at 601 Georgian Place, Somerset.
The cost for the class is $25 nonmembers/$20 members plus a $20 materials fee payable to Laurel Arts.
Preregistration is required. Our new payment policy requires students to pay 50% of the total tuition and materials upon registration. This is non-refundable. Call/text 814-442-6217 or call 814-443-1835 to register by September 9 in order to get supplies in time.
