Did you know that March 11 is National Johnny Appleseed Day? It’s a day set aside to celebrate John Chapman and how he planted and cared for countless apple trees. To celebrate, we will create some delicious apple recipes, turn a clay pot into an apple, and perform some apple science. We’ll also learn about the life of Johnny Appleseed. This a-peel-ing workshop is best suited for children ages Pre-k through 3rd grade.
