We are excited to add artist Laryssa Duncan to our line up of amazing instructors here at Laurel Arts. Laryssa has worked on book trade projects with the Somerset Historical Center. In this one-day class, students will learn how to make a simple pamphlet binding. Bookbinding tools such as needles, linen thread, bone folders, and awls will be used to construct a book that can serve as a journal or sketchbook. Students will also learn some basic book history.
