Jasmine Demos is returning to share her love of sewing! In this beginner-friendly workshop, students will learn:
Basic hand sewing – Learn simple stitches, hemming, and how to sew on buttons.
Plan a project – Choose materials and follow the steps to create a sewn ornament.
Troubleshoot – Learn how to fix common sewing problems, such as thread jams and uneven stitches.
Complete a project – Put your new skills to work and finish your own ornament.
Build confidence – Gain the skills and confidence to enjoy future sewing projects.

Class takes place on Tuesday, December 1 at 6pm to 8pm at 601 Georgian Place, Somerset.
The cost is $30 nonmembers/$24 members plus a $10 materials fee.
