SUMMARY:FREE Papercutting Workshop  2-D to 3-D Animals
DESCRIPTION:This free workshop will be led by paper artist Lucy P. Lui\, an advocate of Chinese Paper cutting Art. She has been infusing her papercutting art into beautiful public art\, wall art\, illustrating art\, home deco art and more with 2D and 3D formats. Participants will create 3D animals from 2D. All tools and supplies will be provided. \nTo learn more about Lucy\, check out  https://papercutters.org/user/lucypliu/ \nClass takes place on Saturday\, August 2 at 10:00am to 12:00pm at the Laurel Arts/Philip Dressler Center for the Arts\, 214 Harrison Avenue in Somerset.\n\nThis is a FREE workshop but pre-registration is required. Ages 12 and up are welcome.\nMaterials will be provided\, but if you have a pair of scissors you like to use\, please bring them along.\n\nCall 814-443-2433 to register or stop by the Dressler Center by July 24 so supplies can be ordered in time. Pre-registration is required.
