SUMMARY:Beginners Sewing Basics & Ornament Making
DESCRIPTION:Jasmine Demos is returning to share her love of sewing! In this beginner-friendly workshop\, students will learn:\n\nBasic hand sewing – Learn simple stitches\, hemming\, and how to sew on buttons.Plan a project – Choose materials and follow the steps to create a sewn ornament.Troubleshoot – Learn how to fix common sewing problems\, such as thread jams and uneven stitches.Complete a project – Put your new skills to work and finish your own ornament.Build confidence – Gain the skills and confidence to enjoy future sewing projects.\n\nClass takes place on Tuesday\, December 1 at 6pm to 8pm at 601 Georgian Place\, Somerset.\n\nThe cost is $30 nonmembers/$24 members plus a $10 materials fee. **Take 3 ornament classes in November/December and receive $10 in Dressler Dollars to use at a future class!\n\nRegister fast & easy at the link below:https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/beginners-sewing-basics-and-ornament-making\n\nWe do ask that 50% of the fees are paid at the time of registration.
