DESCRIPTION:Instructor Amanda Haymans of Unwind Art will be joining us for another class. This time she will be teaching Needle Felting. This art form is a dry felting technique that uses a barbed needle to repeatedly poke and tangle wool fibers together\, shaping them into a solid form. In this workshop\, students will learn how to create a beautiful 4×6 Spring scene on felt. DESCRIPTION:Pysanky is a traditional craft originally done in Ukraine and Poland. Join instructor\, Alicia Shussett\, as she helps you to create one of these beautiful eggs. Students will learn to add patterns using the traditional method involving wax and various colors of dye. This class is just in time to decorate or to make a gift for someone special for Easter. The instructor will add a special protectant to the eggs after the class. They will be ready for pick up on Tuesday\, March 31. \nThe class takes place at 601 Georgian Place\, Somerset on Saturday\, March 28 at 2pm to 4pm.  \nThe fee is $45 non-members/$36 members payable to Laurel Arts plus a $10 materials fee.\nNEW ONLINE PAYMENT OPTION\n \nPreregistration is required.
