SUMMARY:Wood Burning (Pyrography) Workshop - Choose between a Charcuterie Board or Hat
DESCRIPTION:We are excited to have Karli Hazlett of Artistry From Scratch in Ebensburg join our talented line up of instructors. Karli will be teaching a first of its kind class here at Laurel Arts in Pyrography. Also know as wood burning\, this is an art form where designs are created on wood or other materials by burning into them with a heated tool.\nStudents will use pyrography pens to burn beautiful designs into their choose of project; a handmade charcuterie board or a hat. You can also choose your design! Draw it on at the class or send it ahead to have it drawn on for you. Projects can be taken home that day! This workshop is great for all skill levels. Please specify which project you would like when you call to register.\n\nCharcuterie Board Class fee is payable to Laurel Arts: $50 nonmembers/$40 members plus a $25 materials fee\n\nHat Class fee is payable to Laurel Arts: $80 nonmembers/$64 members plus a $25 materials fee\n\nOur payment policy requires students to pay 50% of the total tuition and materials upon registration. DESCRIPTION:Learn how to make your own chunky knit blanket with Amy Miller of Finnegan Knits in Finzel\, MD. This class is a great introduction to knitting- no needles required and at the end of the class you will have a lap blanket to call your own! Make your blanket part of your home decor\, or they make wonderful gifts! All ages 8 through adult are welcome! This class fills up fast so register early!\nRegistration is required.
