DESCRIPTION:Instructor Lisa Meyers will be offering another one of her beautiful rug making classes! This is a class that teaches a machine free\, gadget free\, ancient method of making braided rugs. Braided rugs and other homemade rugs are ultimate recycling projects. These rugs\, when cared for properly\, become heirlooms. Learn all the techniques needed to create a quality rug.The first lesson is 1 hour or so to go over all the proper materials\, needles\, thread\, thimble\, scissors and a lesson on color theory to help you personalize your project. No need to bring anything unless you want to make sure it is correct. Handouts are given with each night’s lessons. This is a very important and can not be missed. There will be plenty of time for questions.***Please do not buy any materials ahead of this lesson. In today’s class\, you can make a decorative no fuss fish bowl while learning or furthering an art. Join Instructor Tami Skavang as she shares her crochet talents to make an adorable fish. At the end of the three weeks\, students will get a bowl and choose rocks and a plant to decorate. If time and ability allows\, you can make more than one fish for your bowl. DESCRIPTION:Instructor Lisa Meyers will be offering another one of her beautiful rug making classes! This is a class that teaches a machine free\, gadget free\, ancient method of making braided rugs. Braided rugs and other homemade rugs are ultimate recycling projects. These rugs\, when cared for properly\, become heirlooms. Learn all the techniques needed to create a quality rug.The first lesson is 1 hour or so to go over all the proper materials\, needles\, thread\, thimble\, scissors and a lesson on color theory to help you personalize your project. No need to bring anything unless you want to make sure it is correct. Handouts are given with each night’s lessons. This is a very important and can not be missed. There will be plenty of time for questions.***Please do not buy any materials ahead of this lesson. After the information session in the first week\, students will be responsible for purchasing any materials needed for the project. This is not included in the class fee.You may start a 3′ X 5′ rug or a 10″ X 16″ place mat.
