SUMMARY:Giving Thanks Fall/Winter Day Camp
DESCRIPTION:We will once again be offering camps year round for ages 4-5 alone and 3 & under accompanied by an adult. Class would also be suitable for homeschooled children up to 3rd grade. The sessions include crafts\, games\, recipes\, and storytime. Classes will run Wednesday mornings 10am to Noon. The cost per month is $40 nonmembers/$32 members and includes 3 sessions. Preregistration is required seven days before the first session of each month. Call/text 814-442-6217 to register.\nNovember 1\, 8\, 15 – Giving Thanks – Join us in November as we learn about Veteran’s Day and create a patriotic craft. We will also talk about Thanksgiving and how it began. We will even bake a mini pie to celebrate the season.

DESCRIPTION:Ann Szilagyi will share a bit of her heritage with you with the making of the traditional Polish porcupine ball called a Jezyk. The ornament is also called a hedgehog\, or a porcupine from the actual meaning of the word Jezyk. Make this a tradition of your own and proudly display it on your Christmas tree\, give as gifts or hang in your windows all year round. You will complete an ornament in this two hour class and leave with instructions to share with your family and friends.\nClass takes place on Saturday\, November 4 at 2pm to 4pm at 601 Georgian Place.\nClass size is limited to 12 years of age and older. Please note that this class may not be suitable for those that have arthritis or any issues with manual dexterity of the hands.\nThe cost is $40 nonmembers/$32 members.
