SUMMARY:Red\, White\, & Blue Day Camp
DESCRIPTION:Winter/Spring Day Camps for KidsThis is a year round camp designed for ages 4-5 alone and 3 & under accompanied by an adult. The class would also be suitable for homeschooled children up to 3rd grade. The sessions include crafts\, games\, recipes\, and storytime. Classes will run Wednesday mornings 10am to Noon. The cost per month is $40 nonmembers/$32 members and includes 3 sessions. Preregistration is required seven days before the first session of each month. Call/text 814-442-6217 to register. \nMay 3\, 10\, 17 – Red\, White\, & Blue \nWhat better way to celebrate May than with some patriotic crafts? Red\, white\, and blue will be the colors of the month. We will learn about the flag and craft one of our own. We will even create a flag you can eat!

SUMMARY:Basket Weaving Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Join instructors Diane Kelly and Myrna Shaw for a day of basket weaving. Both of them have years of experience in the art. Students will create a bread basket with an oak base like the one in the photo. The instructors will not only help everyone to complete this basket but will also provide them with skills and patterns to make other projects on their own.\n\nThe class will be held on Saturday\, May 6 at 9am – 4pm. Please bring a lunch.\n\nThe cost for the workshop is $85 nonmembers/$68 members plus a $15 materials fee payable to Laurel Arts.\n\nClass takes place at 601 Georgian Place\, Somerset.\n\nClass size is limited so please sign up early to reserve your spot. Preregistration is required by Monday\, April 3 to allow enough time to order and receive supplies. We do require 50% of the fees to be paid at the time of registration. SUMMARY:Flavors of Summer - Cupcake & Wine Pairing
DESCRIPTION:We are excited to offer another Cupcake & Wine Pairing here at Laurel Arts! Lee Hetrick of Vin De Matrix Winery will guide participants through the best flavors of wine to enjoy with a variety of six cupcakes. Cupcakes will be baked by Stacie Custer of Stacie’s Sweets & Eats. The flavors will all be themed for the tropical days of Summer!\nThe cost of the event includes the wine tastings along with 6 Summer cupcake samples. Participants will also take home a 6 pack of full size cupcakes\, one of each flavor and a keepsake stemless glass.\n$28 payable to Laurel Arts plus $8 payable directly to Vin De Matrix Winery\nThursday\, May 11 at 6pm at 601 Georgian Place\, Somerset\nPreregistration is required by May 3.\nOur new payment policy requires students to pay 50% of the total tuition and materials upon registration.
