DESCRIPTION:What better way to celebrate Teddy Bear Day on September 9 than with a Teddy Bear Tea Party! Bring your favorite bear along for a morning of fun activities. We will sit down for tea\, sandwiches\, and a delicious dessert. After we are all “stuffed” we will have some fun as we create a craft or two\, decorate “beary” cute cookies\, and play games.\n\nThis event is perfect for children ages 4 & up or 3 & under with an adult.\n\nThe Tea Party takes place on Saturday\, September 11 at 10am to Noon at 601 Georgian Place\, Somerset.\n\nCost: $20 nonmembers/$16 members payable to Laurel Arts plus $8 materials fee payable to Marsha Schmuck\nCall or text 814-442-6217 or call 814-443-2433 to register by September 6.

SUMMARY:Hydro dipping Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Hydro dipping has become a very popular art form to add color to shoes\, insulated cups\, and even game controllers. It is done by dipping an item in a bin of water in which acrylic paints\, spray paints\, or even nail polish have been added. During the workshop\, students will dip several different items to take home.\nThis workshop is best suited for students ages 10 & up.\n\nThe class takes place on Saturday\, September 25 at 2pm to 4pm at 601 Georgian Place\, Somerset.\n\nCost: $20 nonmembers/$16 members payable to Laurel Arts plus $18 materials fee payable to Marsha Schmuck\nCall or text 814-442-6217 or call 814-443-2433 to register by September 20.

DESCRIPTION:  \nClay Critters for Kids\nJoin instructor Susan Wilson as we make your favorite animal out of clay using the pinch pot technique. This simple clay technique will create the body. Students will be shown how to attach the head and legs. Bring a picture or your favorite stuffed animal to look at for inspiration. Students could possibly have time to make two animals.
