Participants will learn how to: Read and follow simple cross stitch patternsPrepare fabric and embroidery hoopsThread needles and make clean\, even stitchesChange colors\, secure threads\, and finish their piece neatlyBy the end of the session\, everyone will complete a small\, charming design—perfect for gifting\, framing\, or continuing at home.\n\nMEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR:Amanda Haymans\, originally from Richmond\, Virginia\, serves as the Art and Gallery Director at Nemacolin Resort. She holds a BFA in Art\, is a CZT\, and brings a deep passion for arts education\, having taught in museums\, K–12 classrooms\, and early‑childhoodprograms. In her role\, Amanda curates multiple galleryspaces\, leads art tours and lectures\, oversees an artist‑in‑residence program\, and coordinates large‑scaleart events\, private parties\, and group experiences.She also enjoys bringing art to her local community and creating accessible\, inspiring experiences for audiences of all ages.
